ANTICIPATED LITIGATION

Significant Exposure to Litigation Against the City. A point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City Council on the advice of its legal counsel, based on existing facts and circumstances, there is a significant exposure to litigation against the City. There are (3) three potential cases (Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2).

LABOR RELATIONS NEGOTIATIONS PERSONNEL MATTERS

The City Council will recess to closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54957 to consider the employment to the position of Police Chief.

  5. 2nd Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 17-15, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL CENTRO AMENDING CITY CODE SECTIONS 29-52 AND 29-54.1 OF DIVISION 2, ARTICLE II, SECTION 29- 107 OF DIVISION 2, ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 29, AND 29-162(1) OF DIVISION 9, ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 29 OF THE EL CENTRO MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW A REDUCTION IN THE MINIMUM LOT AREA IN THE R1, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, waive reading and adopt by title only.

  6. Adopt Resolution No. 17- , RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL CENTRO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING LOST OR UNCLAIMED PROPERTY TO BE NEEDED FOR A PUBLIC USE AND AUTHORIZING ITS DONATION TO THE IMPERIAL VALLEY VELO CLUB FOR REFURBISHING

  7. Accept the annual Development Impact Fee and Water/Wastewater Capacity Fee information report for fiscal year June 30, 2017
