ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Significant Exposure to Litigation Against the City Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2) - a point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City Council based upon advice of its legal counsel, based on existing facts and circumstance, there is a significant exposure:
a. EPA claim - 3948 Arthur Hennessey Court, El Centro
b. Isias Avila claim - lost clothes and damage to vehicle - 1596 W. Heil
c. Patricia Earley claim - light pole located near 277 W. Ross fell on her vehicle
d. Marisela Ruiz claim - car hit light pole lying across W. Ross

LABOR RELATIONS NEGOTIATIONS
The City Council will recess to closed session pursuant to Government Code §54957.6 to meet with Marcela Piedra, City Manager, Abraham Campos, Public Works Director, and Teri Brownlee, Human Resources Director for the purpose of reviewing the City’s position and instructing its representative(s) regarding matters of salaries, salary schedules, compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits, or, as applicable, other matters dealing with mandatory subjects within the scope of representation pursuant to Government Code §3504.

This is a public meeting. Article 8(e) of the Public Utilities code for bus benches/shelter in the amount of $18,781. 2. Article 8(e) of the Public Utilities code for 7th/State Street bus terminal in the amount of $45,000. 3. Article 8(e) of the Public Utilities code for regional maintenance and upkeep benches/shelter in the amount of $25,000 4. Article 3 of the Public Utilities code for bicycle and pedestrian facilities in the amount of $37,295.
10. Adopt Resolution No. 19- , RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EL CENTRO, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A SPECIAL TAX IN COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2007-1 (LEGACY RANCH) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019/2020

Approve Ordinance No. 19- AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL CENTRO AMENDING CHAPTER 13, ARTICLE VII, SECTION 13-115 EXTENDING THE PROHIBITION ON COMMERCIAL CANNABIS ACTIVITIES, waive reading and approve as first reading and authorize City Clerk to place on the next agenda for second reading and adoption.
