ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Significant Exposure to Litigation Against the City Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2) - a point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City Council based upon advice of its legal counsel, based on existing facts and circumstance, there is a significant exposure to litigation against the local City as follows:
a. Possible settlement of personnel issue.

LABOR RELATIONS NEGOTIATIONS
The City Council will recess to closed session pursuant to Government Code §54957.6 to meet with Marcela Piedra, City Manager, Abraham Campos, Public Works Director, and Teri Brownlee, Human Resources Director for the purpose of reviewing the City’s position and instructing its representative(s) regarding matters of salaries, salary schedules, compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits, or, as applicable, other matters dealing with mandatory subjects within the scope of representation pursuant to Government Code §3504.
Meeting with the CWDO and/or their representatives.
NEGOTIATIONS REGARDING ACQUISITION/DISPOSITION OF REAL PROPERTY
The City Council will recess to closed session pursuant to Government Code §54956.8 to give instructions to the City’s negotiator, Marcela Piedra, City Manager, Adrianna Nava, Community Services Director, or Elizabeth Martyn, City Attorney, regarding negotiations with Guild Administration Corp. which instructions will concern price, terms of payment or both, including due diligence provisions and other monetary related considerations concerning possible purchase of the property located at 639 W. Heil Ave., El Centro.

PROJECT: Imperial County Office of Education Annexation (EC 2-17), General Plan Amendment 17-03, and Change of Zone 17-03 - A proposed annexation and Pre-Zone of land to Limited Use (LU) and General Plan Amendment for consistency with the Zoning Map, consisting of approximately 80 acres of land, located at the southwest corner of McCabe Road and Sperber Road, further identified by APN 054-510-001.
