ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Significant Exposure to Litigation Against the City. A point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City Council on the advice of its legal counsel, based on existing facts and circumstances, there is a significant exposure to litigation against the City. There is one potential case (Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2).
NEGOTIATIONS REGARDING ACQUISITION/DISPOSITION OF REAL PROPERTY

The City Council will recess to closed session pursuant to Government Code §54956.8 to give instructions to the City’s negotiators, Marcela Piedra, City Manager, and Adriana Nava, Community Services Director, regarding the following negotiations regarding real property: (a) with Adam Conn, which instructions will concern price, terms of payment or both, including due diligence provisions and other monetary related considerations concerning purchase and sale of the property located at 229 W. State St. (APN 053-134-002). El Centro, CA.

1) Conduct a Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act Hearing in consideration of the issuance of tax exempt bond financing by the California Statewide Communities Authority to provide financing for the construction of a 56-unit multi-family rental housing project located at 1725 W. Approval of Ordinance No. 19- AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL CENTRO REPEALING IN ITS ENTIRETY CHAPTER 16, ARTICLE X, REGARDING CABLE COMMUNICATIONS, waiving reading and approve as 1st reading and authorize City Clerk to place on the next agenda for second reading and adoption.
