Notice is hereby given that the Mayor of the City of El Centro has called a Special Meeting of the El Centro City Council to consider the item(s) on this agenda. The public is invited to submit questions in advance of the meeting to be answered at the meeting. Please email your questions to CityClerk@cityofelcentro.org or call 760-337-4515 (you may leave a message) by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020.

THIS MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE GOVERNOR’S EXECUTIVE ORDER, WHICH SUSPENDS CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS OF THE RALPH M. BROWN ACT. 1. Updates on COVID-19 Coronavirus and Respond to Questions Submitted by the public. PRESENTATION: Dr. Adolphe Edward, CEO, El Centro Regional Medical Center; Janette Angulo, Director, Imperial County Public Health Department; Chief Johnson, El Centro Police Department; Chief Herbert, El Centro Fire Department; City Staff RECOMMENDATION: Updates on COVID-19 Coronavirus and respond to questions submitted by the public. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Any person wishing to address the City Council on any matter on this agenda is asked to complete a “Speaker Slip” and submit to the City Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. Unless the Mayor extends the time, there is a three minute limit for each public comment. No comments on non-agenda items will be heard at this Special Meeting.
