13. 2 016 - 2017 Budget Reallocation/Am endment Request

RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the request to reallocate $50,000 of asset forfeiture funding currently allocated for the purchase of general safety equipment to the purchase of a new phone system from Frontier Communications and the forti fication of the police department be granted. Additionally, it is recommended that a $50,000 budget amendment from our unallocated asset forfeiture funds be granted and allocated to cover actual project cost and potential overages as specified in the fisc al impact section of the document.
