Adopt Resolution No. 17- , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL CENTRO ADOPTING MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION NO. 16-03 WITH MITIGATION MONITORING & REPORTING PROGRAM FOR CHANGE OF ZONE 16-02 AND GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 16-02.

14. Public hearing to consider the recommendation of the Planning Commission on General Plan Amendment 16-02 to amend the General Plan Land Use Map. The proposed amendment consists of changing the land use designation of property at the southwest corner of Cruickshank Drive and 8th Street, consisting of approximately 20.5 acres from Rural Residential to General Commercial and changing the land use designation of property at the northwest corner of Cruickshank Drive and 8th Street, consisting of approximately 21.5 acres from Rural Residential to General Industrial to be consistent with Change of Zone 16-02.
