Upon advice of its legal counsel, the City Council will recess to closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1) regarding the following existing cases to which the City is a party: City of El Centro vs. Jacob Zavala, individually, Kimberly Zavala, individual, Jacob Zavala and Kimberly Zavala dba El Dorado Printing and Embroidery, and DOES 1through 10, inclusive - Imperial Superior Court Case No. ECU001048; and Norma Ordonez vs. Martin Aguilar, City of El Centro and DOES 1 through 100, inclusive-Imperial Superior Court Case No. ECU000954.

ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Possible Initiation of Litigation by the City pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4) - Three (3) cases: Code Enforcement- 463 W. Main Street, El Centro; 429 Broadway, El Centro; and 102 Danenberg, El Centro.
NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Discussion and any necessary action regarding the requested sponsorship from MANA de Imperial Valley for its annual Las Primeras Awards Gala & Fundraiser.

RECOMMENDATION:
Discussion and any necessary action regarding the determination of the City's position on the proposed 2019 League of California Cities Annual Conference Resolutions. The Conference will be held in Long Beach CA, October 16-18, 2019.
9. Discussion and any necessary action regarding the appointment of three voting members to the Community Services Commission(CSC)/Library Board to serve three (3) year terms ending April 2022.
